日本ではＨＩＶ感染者・エイズ患者が増え続けています。昨年1年間で過去最多の1,557人の報告があり、そのうち東京都は545人でした。症状の出ていないHIV感染者は20～30歳代の年代に多く、発症して初めて感染を知るエイズ患者は30歳以上の年代に多くなっています。
HIV感染の心配がある方は無料・匿名で相談や検査が受けられます。検査は感染の機会があった時から2カ月以上経っていれば可能です。
区内のＨＩＶ抗体検査は、品川保健センターと荏原保健センターで行っています。
品川保健センターは、第1・3木曜日の午後1時から1時30分、荏原保健センターは、第2・4火曜日の午前11時から11時30分に受け付けています。

The number of HIV carriers and AIDS patients is increasing in Japan. A recent report revealed that 1,557 people (a record high) were infected with HIV last year, among which 545 people were reported from Tokyo. According to the report, most HIV carriers who show no symptoms appear to be in their 20s and 30s. The first signs of infection are most likely to appear in those in their 30’s and above.  
Free and anonymous HIV tests and consultation services are now available, which can be performed at least two months after possible infection. 

In Shinagawa City, HIV antibody tests are provided at the following locations: 
First, the Shinagawa City Health Service Center, from 1p.m. to 1:30p.m. on every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month. The Center can be reached at 3474-2225. 
Second, the Ebara Health Service Center, from 11.00a.m. to 11.30a.m. on every 2nd and 4th Tuesday. The Ebara Health Service Center can be reached at 3788-7014.

11月1日から平成22年3月31日の間、区では､省エネルギー対策を推進するため、「ウオームビズキャンペーン」を実施します。暖房温度が過度にならないように、暖房に頼り過ぎず、重ね着などの服装で、体感温度を調整しましょう。

Warm Biz Campaign
Inihahandog ng lungsod ng Shinagawa ang Warm Biz Campaign. Ito ay magaganap mula una ng Nobyembre 2009 hanggang ika-31 ng Marso 2010. Ang layunin ng campaign na ito ay pagkokonserba ng enerhiya at elektrisidad.
Ngayong tag-lamig, dapat ay hindi natin masyadong gamitin ang ating heater para painitin ang bahay. May isang mura at madaling paraan para hindi tayo ginawin. Paano? Magsuot lamang ng mas maraming damit kung tayo ay giniginaw. Alalahanin din na panatilling nasa 20 degrees ang inyong mga heater sa bahay o opisina para makakonserba ng enerhiya.

Shinagawa City will launch its “Warm Biz” campaign, which will run from November 1st, 2009 to March 31st, 2010. The campaign aims to reduce the overall amount of energy use through the promotion of dressing warmly to cut heating costs. Over the winter, the “Warm Biz” campaign asks that you not rely too much on a heater to warm stay warm, but rather, to wear extra layers of clothing to control your body temperature.               
Start energy saving in homes and offices by setting the heater thermostats to about 20 degrees Celsius.

2009品川区商連大商業まつりが、11月21日の午前10時30分から午後5時まで、区立中小企業センターで行われます。

Ang City Merchants Festival sa Shinagawa
Magaganap ang Shinagawa City Merchants Festival o Daishogyo Matsuri sa ika-21 ng Nobyembre mula alas 10 y media hanggang alas 5 sa Small and Medium Enterprise center sa lungsod ng Shinagawa. Ang piyestang ito ay isang proyekto ng Shotengai Rengokai o tinatawag na Shopping Streets Federation ng Shinagawa.
 Bibigyan ng award ang 40 lokal na tindahang napili bilang “My Star” shop. Ang mga “My Star” shops ay ang mga pinakamagandang tindahan o “best shops” sa lungsod ng Shinagawa ngayong taon. The 2009 Shotengai Rengokai Daishogyo Matsuri, or the 2009 Shinagawa City Shopping Street Federation Merchant festival, will take place on November 21st, from 10.30 a.m. to 17.00 p.m., at the Shinagawa City Small and Medium Enterprise Center.

Shinagawa City Basketball Fiesta / Ang Piyesta ng Basketbol sa Lungsod ng Shinagwa
Ang piyesta nga basketbol dito sa lungsod ng Shinagwa ay nagbibigay ng isang napakagandang oportunidad para makapanood ng laro ng Japan Basketball League o JBL at ng Women’s Japan Basketball League Organization o WJBL.
Ito ay magaganap sa Linggo, ika-15 ng Nobyembre mula alas doce ng hapon hanggang alas sais ng gabi. Magaganap ito sa Shinagawa Sogo Taiikukan (o tinaqtawag na General Gymnasium). Maari ninyo mapanaood ang sumusunod na laro:

The Shinagawa City Basketball Fiesta offers you a fantastic opportunity to watch basketball games featuring the Japan Basketball League and Women’s Japan Basketball League.
The Basketball Fiesta will take place on Sunday, November 15th, and will last from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. The fiesta will be held at the Shinagawa Sogo Taiikukan and will feature the following games.
The first game to be played will be within the Japan Basketball League, with Kuroda Electric Bullet Spirits versus Renova Kagoshima. The second and third games will among the Women’s Japan Basketball League, first with a match-up between Hitachi High-Technologies Cougars and Ebara Vickies, which will be followed by Bigblue Tokyo versus the Yamanashi Queenbees.
The fiesta is limited to 500 people, on a first come first served basis. The fiesta is open to all from elementary school age and above.

A total of three hundred million yen worth of Shinagawa City premium gift certificates at the rate of 10% above will go on sale at 10.00 a.m. on November 4th. The token books, containing 22 x \500 tokens per book that are valid until February 2010, are available until sold out to everyone regardless of whether they live or work in Shinagawa City, limit 10 books per person.
