動物は責任と愛情をもって最期まで飼いましょう。
飼い主は、動物の習性や生理をよく理解し、愛情をもって最期まで飼う責任があります。　
繁殖を望まない場合は手術をしましょう。手術をすると性質がおとなしくなり、扱いやすくなるなどのメリットがあるほか、生殖器系の病気の予防にもなります。
また、身元を表示しましょう。迷子になり飼い主のもとに戻ることができない動物は少なくありません。飼い主の責任を明らかにし、迷子の動物を発見しやすくするためにも、犬には鑑札を着け、猫などには名札を着けましょう。

Ang tamang pag-alaga sa ating pets

Kinakailangan na alagaan at mahalin an gating alaga o “pets” na aso, pusa atbp. Nararapat na ang mga may-ari ay alagaan ito hanggang mamatay sila. Siguraduhin na huwag manganak nang marami an gating alaga dahil mahirap na ung dumami ang pets natin. Halimbawa, kapag ni-neuter natin ang pets, mas babait at tatalino ito. Hindi rin sila madalas magkasakit. Huwag din natin pabayaan mawala ang gating mga alaga. Dapat ay lagyan natin sila ng nameplate para kung sakali man ay lumibot sila ay madali silang mahanap.

If you are worried about unexpectedly having more pets than you initially bargained for, having your pet spayed or neutered will prevent them from reproducing. The spaying and neutering procedures also make your pet gentler and tamer, while at the same time reducing the possibility of reproductive system diseases.

Finally, make sure that your pets carry identifiable information with them, as few animals can make it back home once they get lost. Licence plates or nametags will make finding their owners much easier and will ensure that they get home sooner.

しながわ宿場まつり
　期日：９月２６日（土）午後２時～８時、２７日（日）午前１１時～午後８時
　場所：旧東海道八ツ山から青物横丁
　内容：２６日は和太鼓、マジックショー、大道芸など
２７日は、江戸町人行列などのパレード、人力車、かご、フリーマーケット、品川寄席など
また、２７日は約１時間の乗合屋形船遊覧も小学生以上１０５０円で楽しむことができます。

Ang Pieysta ng Shukuba sa Shinagawa

Magkakaraoon ng isang piyesta na tinatawag na Shukuba sa Shinagawa mula Sabado, ika-26 ng Setyembre mula alas-2 ng hapon hanggang alas-8 ng gabi at sa Linggo, ika-27 ng Setyembre mula alas once hanggang alas-8 ng gabi. Ito ay magaganap sa Yatsuyama hanggang sa Aomonoyokocho.

Sa ika-26, Sabado ay may pagtatanghal ng wadaiko, isang magic show, main street art atbp. Sa ika-27 naman ay may parada ng mga Edo merchants, isang rickshaw, flea market o tiyange at isang variety show sa Shinagawa. Sa araw na ito, maari din kayong mag-enjoy sa pagsakay ng Yakata boat sightseeing trip. Ito ay nagtatagal ng isang oras at Y1050 lamang para sa mga elementary school students at mas matanda. The Shinagawa Shukuba Matsuri, or, the Shinagawa Post-Town Festival, will be held on Saturday, September 26th from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Sunday, September 27th, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. along the Old Tokaido Road from Yatsuyama to Aomono-yokocho.

On Saturday, the 26th there will be a Japanese Wadaiko drum performance, magic shows, street performances, and other events. On Sunday, the 27th, there will be an Edo public procession, rickshaws, palanquins, flea markets, Shinagawa yose performance (or, Japanese traditional storytelling), and a traditional Japanese style houseboat, or yakata-bune, which will be 1,050 yen for elementary school age children and older.

高齢者の家具転倒防止対策助成

地震対策に有効な家具転倒防止器具の購入、取り付けにかかる費用の助成をします。品川区シルバー人材センターが転倒防止器具の選定から取り付けまでを行います。
対象は、65歳以上のみの世帯、もしくは障害者のみの世帯
助成額は、費用が20,000円以下の場合は、費用の１割。
費用が20,000円以上の場合は、費用から18,000円を引いた額を助成します。
申請書は区役所の高齢者いきがい課、障害者福祉課、地域センター、文化センター、シルバーセンターで配布しています。

超过两万日元的装置费用时，您只需负担1万8千日元的装置费。

Furniture stabilizing devices are one of many effective measures to protect you and your household from damage caused by earthquakes.  Shinagawa City assists households with one or more people aged 65 years or older or with disabilities by subsidising part of the expense for the purchase and installation of these devices. Shinagawa City Silver Human Resources Center will help with installation procedures from the selection of proper devices to the manual configuration of the devices.
When the cost for the total installation is less than 20,000 yen, 10% of the total expenses will be subsidised.  When the cost is over 20,000 yen, the amount that will subsidized will be equal to the total cost minus 18,000 yen. 
To receive these subsidies, please pick up an application form, available at the following locations:  The Seniors’ Full Life Program Section, the Welfare for the Disabled Section at the City Office, community centers, cultural centers, or the Silver Human Resources Center.

If you would like to purchase every-day products at reasonable prices, or if you are looking for a good place to sell unwanted or unnecessary items, “Ribbon” recycle stores are the place for you.

To put items up for sale, you are required to be at least 18 years of age.  Please make a reservation either by phone or at the store, and bring proof of your address and age when you bring the items that you wish to sell.

There will be a 100 yen commission charge for each item, and 40% of the sales will be charges for sales expenses however you may post or gather information on items on the noticeboard at the stores free of charge.

The stores are open every day except Wednesdays.
