In fiscal 2012, the ‘Benefit for Children’, will be paid to parents/guardians of children who have not yet completed junior high school and who reside in Japan.
The monthly allowance per child is:
¥15,000 for those under 3 years old,¥10,000 for children aged 3 until the completion of elementary school (although for the third child and each subsequent child, the amount will be ¥15,000),¥10,000 for junior high school students
If you are currently receiving “Kodomo-teate”, you do not need to re-apply unless any of the following apply.
1.You have an additional eligible child
2.There have been changes to your health insurance scheme
3.You would like to donate the allowance
When applying, please submit the necessary documents, such as the ‘nintei seikyu-sho’ (application form for the Benefit for Children) and a copy of the applicant’s health insurance card.

Next, information on how to dispose of waste.
Please make sure you sort waste properly by type and place it at the waste collection station by 8 a.m. on the designated day.Combustible waste is collected twice a week. Incombustible waste is collected twice a month. Recyclables, such as paper, glass bottles, cans, and plastic bottles, and recyclable plastics are collected once a week.
Collection of large-sized waste with at least one side longer than 30cm,requires advance application. Once you have made the waste application, affix a pre-paid Large-Sized Waste Ticket for Minato City to the item you are discarding.
In accordance with the electrical appliance recycling law, Minato City does not collect TV sets, air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers,washing machines or tumble dryers. For collection of these items, you should consult the store where you purchased or plan to purchase them.
Personal computers are collected and recycled by the manufacturer. If you wish to dispose of a personal computer, please contact the relevant manufacturer.

2012年度において、中学校修了までの国内に居住している子どもの養育者等に「子どものための手当」を支給します。
支給月額は子ども一人あたり 三歳未満 一万五千円、三歳以上から小学校修了まで 一万円（ただし第三子以降は一万五千円)、中学生 一万円です。
現在、子ども手当を受給されている方は申請の必要はありませんが、以下のいずれかに該当する人は申請が必要です。
（１） 対象の子どもが増えた人
（２） 加入健康保険等変更があった人
（３） 寄付の申し出をする人
申請の際は、子どものための手当認定請求書、申請者の健康保険証の写しなどの必要書類を提出してください。

続いて、ゴミの出し方に関するお知らせです。
ごみ・資源はきちんと分別して、指定の収集曜日の朝８時までに集積所に出してください。
可燃ごみは週2回、不燃ごみは月2回、古紙、びん、かん、ペットボトルなどの資源、及び資源プラスチックは週１回収集します。
また、家庭から出る家具などの大きなごみで１辺がおおむね30cm以上のものである「粗大ごみ」は、事前の申し込みが必要です。排出の申し込みをしてから、港区有料粗大ごみ処理券を貼って出してください。区では、テレビ、エアコン、冷蔵庫・冷凍庫、洗濯機、衣類乾燥機は家電リサイクル法に基づき収集できません。収集は、商品を以前に購入した店や新しく購入する店に引取りを依頼してください。パソコンは、メーカーが回収、リサイクルします。廃棄するパソコンメーカーの受付窓口までお問い合わせください。

在2012年度，截至初中毕业前，并且在日本国内居住的儿童抚养人可以领取“儿童津贴”。津贴金额按年龄分别如下：未满三岁儿童，1万5000日元；三岁以上至小学毕业儿童，1万日元（第三胎及以后的子女1万5000日元）；初中生，1万日元。
目前，已经在领取儿童津贴的抚养人不需要再次申请。不过，属于以下情况的抚养人需要申请：

下面播送有关垃圾扔弃方法的通知。
请将垃圾和资源回收品分好类，在指定的垃圾收集日期早晨8时前放置在垃圾回收点。可燃垃圾每周回收2次，不燃垃圾每月回收2次，废纸、瓶类、易拉罐类和塑料瓶等资源垃圾，以及资源塑料每周回收1次。此外，家庭里的废旧家具等大型垃圾，如果边长大概超过30厘米，将被视为“粗大垃圾”，需要事先申请。
粗大垃圾处理申请之后，请购买港区发行的收费粗大垃圾处理券，贴在废旧家具等粗大垃圾上再扔弃。根据家电回收法规定，港区拒绝收集电视机、空调、冰箱、冷库、洗衣机和干燥机等家电用品。处理以上垃圾时，请与购买该商品的店铺或购买新家电的店铺联系，请他们代为处理。电脑由电脑生产厂家负责回收。请与该废旧电脑的厂商有关部门联系。

2012년도에, 중학교 수료까지의 국내 거주 아동 양육자 등에 대해 ‘아동을 위한 수당’을 지급합니다.
지급 월액은 아동 1인당,
3세 미만 1만 5천엔, 3세 이상에서 초등학교 수료까지 1만엔(단, 제3자 이후 1만 5천엔), 중학생 1만엔입니다.
현재, 아동수당을 받고 있는 분은 신청하실 필요가 없습니다만, 이하에 해당하시는 분은 신청을 하셔야 합니다.
（１） 대상 아동이 늘어난 분
（２） 가입 건강보험 등에 변경이 있었던 분
（３） 기부을 제의하시려는 분
신청하실 때는 아동을 위한 수당 인정 신청서, 신청자의 건강보험증 사본 등 구비 서류를 제출해 주십시오.

다음은 쓰레기 배출 방법에 대해 전해드리겠습니다
쓰레기와 재활용이 가능한 자원을 분별하여, 지정 수거 요일 아침 ８시까지 지정된 수거 장소에 배출해 주십시오.
불에 타는 가연쓰레기는 주 2회, 불에 안 타는 불연쓰레기는 월 2회, 폐지,병, 캔, 패트병 등 재활용이 가능한 자원 및 자원 플라스틱은 주 1회 수거합니다.
또한, 가정에서 배출하는 가구 등 한 변이 약 30cm 이상인 ‘대형 쓰레기’는 미리 신청을 하셔야 합니다. 배출 신청을 하신 뒤에 미니토구 유료 대형 쓰레기 처리권을 붙혀서 배출해 주십시오.
미나토구에서는 텔레비전, 에어콘, 냉장고・냉동고, 세탁기, 의류건조기는 가전 재활용법에 따라 수거하지 않습니다.
상품을 구입한 가게. 또는 새로 구입할 가게에 수거를 의뢰해 주십시오. 컴퓨터는 메이커가 회수, 재활용합니다. 폐기하는 컴퓨터 메이커의 접수 창구에 문의해 주십시오.

Minato City will provide group rabies vaccinations for fiscal 2012.Please get the shot at your nearest vaccination site.Notifications have been sent to all owners of dogs that are registered with the city.
The fees are 3,000 yen for the vaccination and 550 yen for the vaccination tag, a total of 3,550 yen.
Please take note of the following points:
（1）Please fill out the necessary parts on the notification form and bring it with you to the vaccination site.
（２）Please bring the correct change.
（３）If your dog has received the combined vaccine within the last month, then the rabies vaccination cannot be administered.
（４）Please make sure that the person who brings the dog is able to control it.
（５）Please bring the necessary items to clean up after your dog.
（６）If you have any worries about your dog’s health, please consult the vet before the vaccination.
（７）Please do not go to vaccination sites by car.
If you are unable to attend the group vaccination, please get your dog vaccinated at an animal clinic and present the vaccination certificate issued by the vet to the Health and Welfare Subsection of your local Regional City Office. A certificate of vaccination will then be issued for ¥550.

Next, information on the opening to the public of the gardens of the Netherlands Embassy Residence.
To celebrate the end of winter and the coming of spring, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands is opening up the gardens of the Netherlands Embassy Residence to the public. The gardens will be open on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th April 2012, from 10am to 4pm.
Visitors should enter the main gate and receive a ticket from the embassy guards. The route to follow will be clearly marked and visitors are requested to stick to the prescribed circuit. Advance booking is not necessary and entry is free. Please refrain from coming by car.

港区では、2012年度の狂犬病予防接種集合注射を実施します。最寄りの会場で注射してください。通知書を港区に登録がある犬の飼い主に郵送しています。
費用は、注射手数料3000円と注射済票交付手数料550円の計3550円です。
お願いは次の通りです。
（1）通知書に必要事項を記入して会場に持参してください。
（２）つり銭のないようにしてください。
（３）１ヶ月以内に混合ワクチンを接種している場合は、予防接種ができません。

来館者はメインゲートから入場し、大使館警備員よりチケットを受け取ってください。見学順路を分かりやすく表示していますので、その順路に沿って見学いただきます。なお、事前の予約は不要です。入場は無料です。

The Spring Traffic Safety Campaign will take place from Friday 6th to Sunday 15th April. This year’s basic policy is ‘Preventing Traffic Accidents Involving Children and Senior Citizens’.
The main points to address are:
* The promotion of safe cycling (ensuring that everyone knows the 5 rules of safe cycling)
* Ensuring the correct use of child seats and seat belts for each passenger.
* The eradication of drink driving.
* The prevention of traffic accidents involving two-wheeled vehicles.
Everybody should follow the correct traffic rules and manners in everyday life and be conscious of traffic safety.

Next, information on children’s polio vaccinations.
In Minato City, polio vaccinations for fiscal 2012 will be provided free of charge.
Children born between June 1st and November 30th 2011 will receive first stage vaccinations, and children born between December 1st 2010 and May 31st 2011 will receive second stage vaccinations.
Advance reservation is required for vaccinations. Please call 03‐5472 – 5489 to apply.
On the day of the vaccination, you should bring your mother and child handbook and a filled out “vaccination questionnaire”. Please come to the venue with a Japanese speaker.

春の交通安全運動が、4月6日（金曜日）から4月15日（日曜日）まで行われます。今年の基本方針は「子どもと高齢者の交通事故防止」です。重点的に取り組む事項は、
・自転車の安全利用の推進(自転車安全利用五則の周知徹底)
・全ての座席のシートベルトとチャイルドシートの正しい着用の徹底
・飲酒運転の根絶
・二輪車の交通事故防止

続いて、「小児ポリオ予防接種」についてのお知らせです。
港区では、2012年度のポリオ予防接種を無料で行います。
対象は、201１年6月１日～11月30日に生まれた子どもの1回目の予防接種と、2010年12月1日～2011年5月31日に生まれた子どもの2回目の予防接種です。
予防接種は、事前予約が必要です。電話で、03‐5472－5489へ申し込みください。
当日は、母子健康手帳・予防接種予診票をご記入の上、お持ちください。なお、会場へは、日本語を話すことができる方と一緒にお越しください。
