2010年4月に港区立小・中学校の入学を希望する外国籍のお子さんの入学申込を、10月1日(木)から港区役所内の教育委員会学務課で受け付けます。
お子さんの住所・生年月日などが確認できるもの(外国人登録証など)をお持ちください。
なお、手続きは日本語で行われますので、通訳が必要な人は日本語のわかる人と一緒にお越しください。
また、港区では学校選択希望制度を導入しており、入学の申し込み手続き後に、「学校選択希望票」等の関係書類を発送しますので早めにお申し込みください。

Applications will be accepted for children with non-Japanese nationality who hope or whose parents hope their children to enter the public elementary or junior high school in Minato City from April of 2010. The School Affairs Section of the School Board in Minato City Office will accept applications beginning on Thursday, October 1st.
Please take an official document with you to confirm the identification of applicable children such as name, address, and date of birth.
It is asked that you be accompanied by a fluent Japanese speaker as the procedure will be conducted in Japanese only.
After your application is accepted, you will receive documents regarding the school selection system used by Minato City. For this reason, earlier application is recommended.
