地震などの災害時について

このチャンネルでは、地震などの災害時に避難方法や被害情報など、必要とされる港区の情報を提供します。大地震などが起こった際には、このチャンネルをお聞きください。
また、港区では、防災情報を携帯電話やパソコンに電子メールで配信します。配信する情報は、地震情報、水位情報、雨量情報です。
登録方法：(1) kumin@bousai.city.minato.tokyo.jpへ空メールを送信してください。
(2) 返信されたメールより登録用URLをクリックし、言語（日本語/英語）を選択して実行ボタンを押してください。
(3) 必要情報を選択して実行ボタンを押してください。

In case of an earthquake or other disaster, you will be provided with essential information from Minato City such as evacuation routes or damage information on this channel. Please tune in when big earthquakes or other disasters occur.
In addition, Minato City can provide emergency and disaster related information to your mobile phone or to your PC via E-mail which includes information about earthquakes, water levels and rainfall.
To register your E-mail address, follow these steps: 
First, send a blank E-mail to kumin@bousai.city.minato.tokyo.jp. You will receive a reply email.  Next, click the URL in the reply that is sent to your email account, select the appropriate language, English or Japanese, and press the enter key.  Finally, enter the information that is requested.
If you have any questions, please contact the Disaster Prevention Subsection of the Disaster Prevention and Life Safety Support Department at 3578-2111 ext. 2541.

子ども医療証について

現在使用中の子ども医療証の有効期限は9月30日までです。引き続き医療証を使うためには、現況届の提出が必要です。
提出が必要な人には、区から現況届の書類を郵送しています。郵送された現況届に記入し、保護者の2008年中の所得を証明する書類（源泉徴収票・課税証明書など）を添えて、8月7日までに提出してください。
提出先：各総合支所区民課保健福祉係
        子ども課子ども給付係（区役所2階）
※郵送の場合は、〒105‐8511 港区役所子ども課子ども給付係へ。
なお、新しい医療証の送付は9月下旬になります。

This message is for those whose children have a Children’s Medical Insurance Card. Your card is valid until September 30th and you will need to submit your genkyoo-todoke, or “Status Report” to renew your child’s Medical Insurance Card.

Those who are required to submit this report should have received the documents from the City Office. Please submit the completed Status Report with the certificate of the parents’ income for fiscal year 2008 by August 7th, including documents such as the withholding slip or the tax certification.  After completing and compiling these documents, file them either at the Health and Welfare Subsection of the Residents’ Support Sections in each Regional City Office, or the Children’s Benefits Subsection of the Child Affairs Section on the second floor of the City Office.

If you wish to mail these documents, please send them to the following address:  The Children’s Benefits Subsection, Child Affairs Section, Minato City Office, postal code 105‐8511.  That’s the Children’s Benefits Subsection, Child Affairs Section, Minato City Office, 105‐8511.  You will receive the renewed Children’s Medical Insurance Card in late September.  If you have any questions, call the Children’s Benefits Subsection of the Child Affairs Section at 3578‐2111 extensions 2430 thru 2433.

定額給付金の支給

定額給付金の支給には申請が必要です。申請受付期間は10月7日までです。まだ、申請がお済みでない人は、至急手続きをお願いします。
申請には、4月に郵送した「定額給付金申請書（請求書）」が必要です。
また、給付金の支給は、口座振込が原則です。
申請書に記入する際は、金融機関名、支店名、口座番号および口座名義を十分に確かめてください。
振込口座をお持ちでない人、外国籍の人で基準日（2009年2月1日）以降に港区に転入申請をした人は、お問い合わせください。

In order to receive Supplementary Income Payments, you will need to fill out and submit the proper application. The deadline for the application is October 7th.  To those who have not yet completed the application, it is recommended that you complete the procedures as early as possible.

To apply, you will need the Supplementary Income Payments application form which you should have received in April.  The payments will be made to your bank account as the default rule, therefore please confirm that you have written the account holder’s name, the bank, the branch, and the account number correctly on the application form.  If you have no bank account, or you are a non-Japanese resident who has completed the resident registration at Minato City after February 1st 2009, please contact Minato Call.

麻布地区のボランティア活動

麻布地区のボランティア活動に参加して、麻布地区をもっと知ってみませんか。活動中は、英語の通訳が付きます。地域の活動に興味がある人、地域の情報を共有したい人など、ぜひご参加ください。
対象：ボランティア活動に興味のある20歳以上の外国人
期間：8月から月１～2回程度、夕方から夜間にかけて行います（1回１時間程度）。※日程は後日お知らせします。
内容：六本木交差点周辺での、環境美化運動やパトロールなどを行います。※報酬はありません。
申し込み：電話で、7月10日までに、みなとコール（℡5472‐3710）へお申し込みください。

Azabu Regional City Office’s Community Policy Subsection will be hosting a volunteer project, organized by the Collaboration Project Section.  Would you like to join in volunteering in the Azabu area and learn more about the community?  For those who are interested in community activities or who want to share information about the area, please join this volunteer work project. Interpretation in English will be provided during the work.

To join this project, you should be 20 years old or older, non-Japanese, and interested in volunteer work.  The working period is one or two times in August, in the evening for around one hour each time. A more detailed schedule will be released later.

Your main duties will include cleaning and patrolling the neighborhood of the Roppongi Intersection. Please remember that this is unpaid work.
