インターＦＭでは、地震などの災害時に避難方法や被害情報など、必要とされる港区の情報を提供します。大地震などが起こった際には、このチャンネルをお聞きください。

また、港区では、防災情報を携帯電話やパソコンに電子メールで配信します。配信する情報は、地震情報、水位情報、雨量情報です。

登録方法：(1) kumin@bousai.city.minato.tokyo.jpへ空メールを送信してください。

(2) 返信されたメールより登録用URLをクリックし、言語（日本語/英語）を選択して実行ボタンを押してください。

(3) 必要情報を選択して実行ボタンを押してください。

In case of an earthquake or other disaster, you will be provided with essential information from Minato City such as evacuation routes or damage information on this channel. Please tune in when big earthquakes or other disasters occur.
In addition, Minato City can provide emergency and disaster related information to your mobile phone or to your PC via E-mail which includes information about earthquakes, water levels and rainfall.
To register your E-mail address, follow these steps: 
First, send a blank E-mail to kumin@bousai.city.minato.tokyo.jp. You will receive a reply email.  Next, click the URL in the reply that is sent to your email account, select the appropriate language, English or Japanese, and press the enter key.  Finally, enter the information that is requested.
If you have any questions, please contact the Disaster Prevention Subsection of the Disaster Prevention and Life Safety Support Department at 3578-2111 ext. 2541.

芝地区総合支所の窓口を開設について

転勤や入学・就職などで転出入の多い３月の最終土曜日と４月の第１土曜日に、芝地区総合支所の窓口を開設します。

開庁日時は、３月28日・４月４日の午前８時45分から午後５時です。場所は、芝地区総合支所の窓口サービス係・保健福祉係・外国人登録係です。他の総合支所は開庁しませんので、ご注意ください。

主な取り扱い業務は、住民税の収納、国民健康保険料の収納、外国人登録原票記載事項証明書の発行、児童手当の申請受付、子ども医療費助成の申請受付などです。

 In response to the high number of people moving in or out of the city due to transferring work, entering school, or finding new employment, the Shiba Regional City Office will be open on the last Saturday of March and the first Saturday of April in addition to usual operating hours. Business hours will be from 8:45 a.m. through 5 p.m. on both March 28th and April 4th.  

  The available sections on these two days will be the Counter Service Subsection, Health and Welfare Subsection, and Foreign Resident Registration Subsection.  No other sections will be open and we apologize for any inconvenience this causes. 

The following services will be accepted on these two days:  Paying taxes, health insurance premiums, the issuing of foreign registration certificates, applications for children’s benefits, applications for children’s medical subsidies.

バイク等の廃車手続はお済みですか？

軽自動車税は、４月１日現在の所有者に課税されます。廃車・譲渡・盗難・出国などにより、原動機付自転車・軽二輪・二輪の小型自動車・軽四輪車などを所有しなくなった場合は、３月末日までに廃車手続きが必要です。

Have you completed the necessary de-registration procedures for your scooter, kei-car, or other motor vehicle that you no longer possess?

 

 

A light motor vehicle tax is imposed on motor vehicle owners as of April 1st.  If your vehicle has been scrapped, given to someone else, stolen, or if you are leaving Japan, you need to complete the de-registration procedures for your vehicle by the end of March.

 

De-registration procedures can be done at the following Offices and sections depending on the following size and type specifications.

u      For a motorcycle with a 125cc engine or less, go to the Residents’ Life Support Section’s Counter Service Subsection, at each regional city office.

u      For a motorcycle with an engine over 125cc go to the Tokyo Transport Branch Office, which can be reached at 050－5540－2030, ext 026

u      For a kei-car or light automobile with an engine of up to 660cc go to the Light Motor Vehicle Inspection Organization which can be reached at 3472－5551

Minato city has launched a new website on the City Office’s homepage in both Chinese and Korean in order to provide information on municipal government and city facilities to as many citizens as possible.

Minato Voice updates its broadcast information weekly, and provides useful information for your daily-life, security, and disaster prevention, in addition to updates on local events.  Minato Voice is broadcast in English on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, in Chinese on Wednesday, and in Korean on Friday. The Japanese version is broadcast daily.

港区では、3月24日(火)に東京プリンスホテル・マグノリアホール(港区芝公園3－3－1)で開催される、港区国際交流会議パネル・ディスカッションの参加者を募集します。

｢国際交流から外国人支援へ｣というテーマで、｢外国人とともにつくる地域社会｣の実現をめざし、幅広い視点からの話し合いをします。当日は、午後2時から国際ジャーナリストの兼高かおるさんの基調講演に始まり、5人のパネリストによるパネル・ディスカッション。そして、午後4時30分からの懇親会という予定です。

Minato City is looking for participants to join an upcoming panel discussion on Minato City International Exchange which will take place on Tuesday, March 15th at Tokyo Prince Hotel’s Magnolia Room, located in Minato-ku, 3-3-1 Shibakoen.

The theme of the discussion is entitled “From International Exchange to Support for People from Overseas”.  The aim of discussion will be the building of local community with non-Japanese living and working in Minato City.  Prior to the discussion, Ms. Kaoru Kanetaka, an international journalist, will give a keynote speech from 2:00 p.m. which will be followed by a discussion of five panelists.  A fellowship banquet will be held starting at 4:30.

Residents and workers in Minato City are eligible to apply.  Forty participants will be selected in a lottery drawing.  To apply, please call Minato’s hotline Minato Call at 5472-3710.  Applications are being accepted until Tuesday, March 10th.
